Retreat Activities
Finding new friends and being in community 
Making music together cements the bonds and lifts our spirits

We punctuate our sharing and personal growth times with enjoying fresh and rugged countryside 
Our theme in 2011 included coffee mugs, something we all love anyway! 
Busy hands ARE happy hands, no? 
Our beautiful bracelets are more than just nice fashion accessories. They mean so much more to us... 
Sharing coffee, life, and the love of God is what it's all about. We find new friends and dive deeper into relationships. 
LOL! Just trying to find our center and our balance in this world, heh. 
Smiles and tears, joy and sorrow, we share it all and let it all out. God gave us emotions and sometimes we need to just unbottle them. 
Our worship on Sunday is filled with meaning and shared love of the Lord. It renews our collective Spirits 
HALLELUJAH! He gave us life, that we should live it abundantly.... 
Lots of live music, you can even make requests! 
Renewed and refreshed, ready to tackle the world God gave us |

The votes are in! The 2011 MCP Womens’ Retreat, “Taste and See” was a huge success! All thanks and praise to God for giving us awesome weather, dedicated and inspired speakers and leaders, and wonderful friends and connections, both new and old. Oh yeah, and plain old fashioned FUN! Yes, it’s true, he knows something’s up ‘cuz I’m packing stuff and running around like a chicken with my head cut off. BUT, I choose to view this as an opportunity for him to develop some confidence and independence (he was abused by men and so is very afraid of Brad and to some extent the boys). Lots to do at work AND at home (will my new shelter dog be able to live without me? will the menfolk figure out how to thaw the chili I made and froze last weekend? will I have a panic attack contemplating the upcoming withdrawal from all my Internet and online activities?)
