Our 2012 Retreat was a wonderful time of growing, learning, sharing, and refreshing.
Watch for photos to come, and check out the beautiful video just posted "Make Me a Vessel," below. It could have been written for our retreat!

Our 2012 Retreat theme is based on 2 Corinthians, 4-7 and "Jars of Clay."  If you've already attended a Retreat, please feel free to leave additional feedback by commenting in the guestbook or the blog below. If you have NOT been on a retreat but have ideas or suggestions, please also feel free to contribute. You can actually write a blog post by visiting the link below, and registering with WordPress.com. The two sites are linked and your blog post there will also appear on this blog. You can also subscribe to that blog via email so you get notified when anyone posts.  www.mcpwomen.wordpress.com

Thank you!

Sharing coffee, life, and the love of God is what it's all about. We find new friends and dive deeper into relationships.

Smiles and tears, joy and sorrow, we share it all and let it all out. God gave us emotions and sometimes we need to just unbottle them.

Guestbook/Feedback:
    • OUR 2012 RETREAT: I was VERY impressed with Marjory Bankson, our wonderful retreat-leader-to-be, when we met with her as a planning group on Wednesday, 11/8/11. She seems very creative, has alot of experience, is wonderfully personable and approachable, and is very enthusiastic about our group. Fantastic! The theme is very broad and flexible, which is good I think, and I've already started looking for some great and thematically appropriate music for us to share with one another. Stay tuned.... This is going to be Simply Awesome....

Shiloh the Shelter Dog, Anxious About Mom Going to Retreat!

Yes, it’s true, he knows something’s up ‘cuz I’m packing stuff and running around like a chicken with my head cut off. BUT, I choose to view this as an opportunity for him to develop some confidence and independence (he was abused by men and so is very afraid of Brad and to some extent the boys). Instead of feeling guilty, I’m choosing to view this situation in a positive light, because in my heart of hearts, I know God wants me to go on this retreat! Have life, and have it …

Retreat Countdown It’s Wednesday so that means only…

Retreat Countdown: It’s Wednesday, so that means only TWO more days after today… can I make it? Lots to do at work AND at home (will my new shelter dog be able to live without me? will the menfolk figure out how to thaw the chili I made and froze last weekend? will I have a panic attack contemplating the upcoming withdrawal from all my Internet and online activities?) How about you? Stay tuned! Lisa Cole
